Ies Wiersma

Ies is an intern engaged in enhancing our firm’s approach to Dutch and international tax law by applying AI. His work involves developing innovative tax tools to streamline our operations and client services. He is in his final year at the University of Amsterdam, focusing on Dutch corporate, withholding, and international income taxes.

Ies combines his tax law studies with skills in programming and prompt engineering, contributing to both internal advancements and client-facing solutions.

Outside of his academic and professional commitments, Ies is also a competitive rower, applying the same dedication and discipline to his sport as his role at VanOlde.
